Your Wedding, Your Day, Your Way!

I hope you’ll find the information below helpful, but if you require any more information about your personal ceremony, please contact me at [email protected]

Do you book more than one wedding per day?

Great question. The answer is No! I am hired by you and this date is yours. I arrive at a venue no less than 2 hours before the scheduled ceremony time. Majority of wedding ceremonies for example will be approx. 30 minutes. So if you plan to have your ceremony at 2 pm, you will be sipping on a beverage by 3 pm!

Can we be legally married on the day?

Yes, you can be legally married on the day once you have made contact with the HSE or NI Direct and have been interviewed by a Registrar. I am on the list of registrars with the HSE and NI Direct. The HSE will give you your Marriage Registration form to have signed on the day and must be returned within 28 days and in Northern Ireland, you will be given a Marriage Schedule and this must be signed on the day  and brought with you to your meeting, pre scheduled with the Registrar. If these documents are not present on the day, there will be no legal marriage.

You provide other services too. Do you charge extra for these services?

I can provide background music and DJ your music during the ceremony however, as a musician myself, I always recommend live music played at a wedding. However, I do respect some budgets do not allow for live music so I am willing to arrange and play your music on the day for a small fee.

I also design and provide wedding invitations, wedding candles, memorial candles, handfasting cords, wedding booklets, order of service, quirky programmes, wedding signs, table numbers and much more so basically I can bring all with me on the day and arrange to have them displayed when I arrive. I will always allow an extra 15-30 minutes for this service too. Basically a One Stop Shop Service for you!

I would love to have an overseas Wedding and Ireland is my dream location, how do I make this happen?

Just simply, get in contact and check availability. Let me know where you wish to celebrate your wedding and we can take it from there. I am surrounded by so many amazing venues who specifically cater for couples getting married from all across the world.

Where are you located?

I am based in Bailieborough, a market town in County Cavan, Ireland, known for its 19th-century character, historic buildings, and proximity to scenic lakes. Originally established as part of the Ulster Plantation, it has developed into a commuter town due to its location near the N3 national road, with a growing population and a compact town centre with retail and service functions. Key features include its historic Courthouse (now an economic and tourism hub), a 19th-century market house now used as a library, and local walking routes around the lakes. Would you like to elope? There is a gorgeous forest on my doorstep, perfect for those who wish to declare their love in a historic woodland location beside the waterside.

We might not get to meet you in person before our wedding day, is that a problem?

I meet majority of my couples via video call. I do my best to facilitate everyone no matter where they are based around the world. By the time we have signed off on your personal ceremony, you will feel so comfortable and know you are in safe hands.
