This commitment means they offer unparalleled flexibility, far beyond what larger venues can provide, giving you the freedom to craft every detail without the pressure of another event looming.
They want you to feel a true sense of 'ownership' over your big day. You're encouraged to have as much (or as little!) input as you desire on timings, décor, food, and the overall running order. Segrave Barns offers a collection of beautifully designed spaces, each with its own charm.
Willow Barn: What began as a "secret garden" has blossomed into their intimate yet spacious Willow Barn. Ideal for both wedding receptions and concerts, this beautiful space has successfully hosted weddings ranging from 100 to 220 guests. Adjacent, you'll find Willow Barn, a fully-licensed bar; quaint, cosy, and reminiscent of a traditional Irish 'shebeen' of the yesteryear.
Holly Barn: Dedicated solely to all indoor wedding ceremonies, Holly Barn combines old-style rustic charm with modern convenience. A fully-integrated sound system ensures every guest can hear your vows with ease! I love this attention to detail!
 
Ashtree Barn: Included in all our wedding packages, Ashtree Barn is a charming 4-bedroom, stone-built haven. Often buzzing with excitement on a wedding morning, its expansive 75ft-long upstairs living area is perfect for preparations with makeup artists, photographers, and hairdressers. Available for up to three nights (depending on your package), Ashtree Barn also boasts a balcony with stunning sea views overlooking Clogherhead, where the sound of crashing waves on the beautiful beach (a popular spot for wedding photos!) adds to the magic.
 
Capacity & Accessibility

They generally accommodate a minimum of 100 guests for your wedding meal, with a maximum limit of 220 wedding meal guests, though inviting extra guests for the evening may be possible. They pride ourselves on being accessible.
The Holly Barn and Willow Barn are step-free, ensuring smooth access for all guests. While Ashtree Barn, their bridal party accommodation, has a staircase, it features an excellent stairlift (key available on request) and a fully accessible en-suite bathroom. They have proudly hosted weddings with multiple wheelchair users, ensuring everyone enjoys the celebration comfortably.
While many ceremonies take place outdoors in fine weather, Holly Barn is a wonderful alternative.

They also have a large, paved courtyard between Holly and Ashtree Barns, covered by a permanent roof for shelter from rain or strong sun. This versatile space is perfect for drinks receptions and even very large wedding ceremonies.
